Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for this position include:
- Assisting with tax preparation including 1099s and individual and business tax returns
- Participating in financial audits and analysis of account activity
- Providing technical assistance to clients
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Company's accounting policies, procedures, processes, and systems
- General accounting responsibilities such as preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and estimating taxes
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Work Hours and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday with lunch breaks. This position offers a great benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid vacations and holidays, and 401k contribution.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- At least two years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
- Aptitude for mathematics and being detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
