Duties and Responsibilities:
The Controller position performs a variety of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Analyzing financial data and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Developing, implementing and monitoring accounting policies and procedures
- Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll activities
- Overseeing budgeting and forecasting
- Producing financial statements and reports
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local tax laws and regulations
- Identifying and resolving financial process issues
Work Hours and Benefits:
The hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, as well as a 401K plan.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates for the Controller position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and at least five years of experience in finance, accounting or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. The ideal candidate also possesses advanced knowledge of accounting principles and excellent organizational, communication and mathematical skills.
