Baton Rouge Bankers is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the opening, maintenance, and closing of customer bank accounts, as well as providing support to customers with account problems or inquires.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Open and manage customer bank accounts
  • Provide support to customers regarding account problems
  • Investigate customer inquires and submit account balance requests
  • Monitor customer transactions and account activity
  • Make sure customer accounts are handled efficiently and in compliance with regulations
  • Issue credit, debit and ATM cards
  • Monitor account changes and perform transactions as requested
  • Compile periodic account statements and reports

Work Hours and Benefits:

This full-time position is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, 401K, paid vacation, sick time, and more.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service and/or banking experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to be detail-oriented, organized and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Training and Education:

-On the job training in banking regulations and operations -Education in business, accounting or finance may be beneficial
