The DevOps Engineer has the responsibility to design, implement, and automate a continuous integration and deployment pipeline for new product features. This will include automating various tasks associated with operating a scalable Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure such as building, patching, testing, releasing, and monitoring applications. He or she must also design and document architecture for improved agility in advance of development and devise solutions for performance issues that may arise during virtual (cloud-based) or physical deployment.
