The Computer Software QA Engineer may work with and support the planning projects creating computer software, performing activities such as monitoring and validating the development of the software, and providing resources for reviewing and implementing new practices to improve the development of company computer programs. This individual may interface with test teams in defining exact project requirements and review results. In addition to assessing changes or updates to computer software applications, the computer software QA Engineer may be required to supervise performance testing and user acceptance testing during the beginning phases of a software application release life cycle.
