Job Description

Working as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Victoria, BC

There are 10 Nuclear Medicine Technologist opportunities available in Victoria, BC all with unique requirements.

Nuclear medicine technologists prepare, handle, administer and dispose of radioactive materials. They perform tests in nuclear medicine to diagnose and treat a variety of diseases. All nuclear medicine procedures and drugs produced by pharmaceutical companies must be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration before being administered to human beings for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. Requirements include at least an associate degree from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT). Nuclear medicine technologists must comply with federal regulation 21 CFR 1040 and follow guidelines set by a variety of professional organizations, including the Society of Nuclear Medicine and
