Job Description

The Tax Preparer assists with tax preparation programs by recording the tax return information, conducting research to ensure compliance with IRS regulations, and working within team guidelines and procedures to provide outstanding service to all taxpayers. The incumbent is required to deal tactfully with taxpayers who are upset over the audit process or the results of their tax returns.
