Mail Carriers transport and deliver mail to residential and business addresses along a specified route. As an independent contractor of the USPS, the Carrier maintains a rigorous daily schedule, adheres to product standards, and follows all rules and regulations outlined. They may be required to deliver mail in inclement weather conditions. In addition to these duties, there is a further responsibility for accurately collecting revenue from customers using postage meters or money orders and making deposits to postal accounts.
